I love playing Outlaw Rogue, but right now, it lacks a true specialty. Blizzard has mentioned wanting to make Outlaw a small-group specialist, but currently, it doesn’t stand out in that role. The skill tree feels too fixed, limiting build variety and making gameplay less dynamic.
If Outlaw gets too much AoE power, it risks losing its unique identity. However, a smart adjustment could make it shine. What if we combined ‘Dancing Steel’ and ‘Precise Cuts’? This could allow Outlaw to specialize in cleaning up leftover enemies in small-group fights, making it feel more distinct from other AoE-heavy classes.
Additionally, allowing ‘Supercharger’ to work with ‘Ghostly Strike’ or ‘Cheap Shot’ would create a more fluid and engaging playstyle. This would give Outlaw more versatility in both PvE and PvP, making it feel less rigid and more fun to play.
Outlaw Rogue is one of the most consistently loved Rogue specs, and small improvements like these could attract more players to the class. A more dynamic, flexible skill tree would keep it engaging while staying true to its high-energy, swashbuckling fantasy.
What do you think? Would you like to see Outlaw get more identity and flexibility in its skill tree?
