Outlaw Rogue in the gutter

So is it just me, or does the launch of the new season make Outlaw rogue feel absolutely terrible. I have people roughly 20 item levels beneath me doing more damage when I am almost perfecting my rotation to a T (based off simulation). Blizzard, if you see this… please do a double take on Outlaw rouge. This is my main but now that it feels terrible to play and does NO damage… why would I even want to play the game?

PvE = okay. Single target is fairly good. Overall damage should be decent.
PvP = absolute cheeks. Anyone confidently claiming outlaw (which weirdly is a lot of people in the pvp forums) is S tier, despite it showing as the second worst D tier spec right now, probably hasn’t even seen one yet because barely anyone is playing it and these people are 100% talking out of their backend.

I think some classes are just over tuned rather than outlaw being terrible. I’ve seen mages and DK’s doing absurd damage even with last seasons gear.

No, you’re correct. I played Outlaw since Legion and was on a team who went to a live competition. They ground the spec into the dirt for very shallow reasons.

Honestly in PVP Outlaw losing those two PVP talents gutted its ability to build momentum for CP generation and CDR.

Dratnos is that you? Welcome to the forums. We need more Rogue voices to help the class have some polish to it once more.

Pretty much. All they had to do was just leave those talents alone and it might’ve been perfectly fine. They over compensated and made the spec terrible, meanwhile let clases like monk and hunter go live being absolutely busted. Absolute joke.

With all the CC goign rampant it is impossible to keep up adrenaline rush and without it we’re useless.

The spec is back to where it was in legion where it is balanced around RTB, Especially with five buffs and the set bonus just further reinforces this point. If you do not have the right rolls you are not doing damage.

In PvE its going to be fine and actually quite strong in the content a majority of players will reach (keys up to 14s+, heroic/mythic raiding outside HoF).

PvP is another story. Personally I felt much weaker grinding up to 1800 then I did previous seasons and the pvp talent loss is very noticable damage and just overall CP generation wise. I am extremely disappointed we got almost nothing new to replace what was taken. The feint talent is nice but its not helping make up for the damage lost by the SS proc chance talent.

PVP as outlaw is miserable now. The 11.1 nerfs were crazy and unjustified. I’m playing sin mainly for PVP now, but not addicted to it like outlaw because the rotation is boring.

Please at some point link your damage numbers compared to your party’s number in a key while you are playing Outlaw M+ build. I am very curious.

Outlaw Cleave should be easy +8M DPS with starting off in the late 630 ilvls.

I ain’t him and granted this was only a 10 key so it has affixes but
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/yVJ1jdZMKQpgXGAP?fight=14&type=damage-done
Hover active and it’ll show you the same number as Details, almost 4.9 mil.

There’s still absolutely miserable issues with the spec and undeniably target cap is one of them if you go walk into Cinderbrew for example. Sub is literally just Outlaw but better because you do the exact same thing but can actually hit more than 8 targets if you need to lol.
