Outlaw rogue = Automatic Loss in EOTS

This is surely what the developers intended. In any high rated game, if their team has an outlaw rogue, you are unable to cap your base, unless you have a mage with Ice Wall. For those not aware this is due to Outlaw rogues being able to use 4 casts of Grappling Hook in a row to get to your base before you can. Let’s see how long blizz takes to fix this one.

They gonna take as long as they do the speed tunning on MW monks and pevokers on carry the flag bgs…

The same thing is possible with priest and mw getting to the enemy base before the cap

All the crazy stuff going on with classes that actually see play and we’re whining about Outlaw rogues? This is almost as bad as the BDK thread… Almost

This forum never ceases to amaze me

Is it also crazy that people were whining about MWs when their extreme mobility for BGB was their one niche at the time?

In fact, weren’t you one of those people?

This is the exact same situation.

I was actually! I’m surprised someone remembers me :3rd_place_medal:

The difference being, MW monk is one of the highest played, if not the actual highest, played healer in the game right now. People play that spec, Outlaw is definitely not (nor is bdk)

This isnt remotely the same situation.

Edit —> Not to mention, you can actually kill a rogue.

Yes it’s very amazing that Outlaw rogues have a gimmick that allows them to basically win the game from the start in EOTS and also in BFG. I’m also seeing Outlaw rogues in most games because of how powerful this gimmick is.

Yes, it is. You’re just being willfully blind because this time you’re the beneficiary.

P.S. MWs weren’t remotely close to the most-played healer when they had their 6 torpedoes and were crazy in FC maps. They only started clawing their way out of mediocrity in the same patch that removed that.

No it isnt.

When outlaw rogue stops being the weakest pick of 3, with two unbelievably strong specs, we can talk.

MW is not only the best Spec for its class, its the best Class for its role, and even when you finally catch them they take a year to die. Its not the same, “youre just the beneficiary”

So your argument is that because a spec has relatively low representation, it should have access to a gamebreaking utility?

Okay thank you for your contribution to the discussion.

That’s Mr. Lizard to you.

My argument is that if it was game breaking it wouldnt be the least played spec of the class.

No, “Mr” is for people.

Outlaw is literally S-tier right now according to most. Are you trolling?

MW quite literally was one of the worst healers in the game at the time they had their crazy mobility. The mobility was their one niche at the time. So you’re right, it isn’t the same situation; Outlaw is actually better positioned.

And MW takes a year to die when you catch them? Is that a joke? MW arguably has the weakest personal defensives of any healer in the game. The reason they’re so hard to kill as FC once they get to the base is purely teleport, and teleport alone.

But it is gamebreaking. That’s a fact. It doesn’t matter how few people play the spec. It literally breaks the game if you queue into an outlaw rogue on two specific maps.

I’m all for Outlaw rogues being made more viable in pvp. My main is fire mage, one of the least played specs in the game. I’m not advocating for fire mage to be given an “I win” button but apparently I should be based on your reasoning.

According to who?

I’ve yet to meet a single outlaw rogue outside of myself.

Now who’s trolling?

They’re healers you have to chase down then deal with the fact their healers. So yeah a year to die like any other healer

Which is why everyone plays assassin and sub right?

Sure if you misquote me.

If fire mage was op, more people would play it. No one besides people who enjoy the class for what it actually is does, because it’s not op.

Same for my pirate rogue

Almost like both Shuffle and Blitz now have matchmaking systems that avoid placing you in the same lobby as others of your spec.

Representation doesn’t mean anything for individual mechanics being balanced or not. As I just established, MW was one of the worst healers in the game when they had their broken mobility that was causing issues in BGB. It makes no matter that Outlaw has low representation if it’s literally breaking the game mode on multiple maps.

So you’re just digging your heels in on your point of view that Outlaw should be the one spec in the game thats allowed to do fast caps on WW in battle for gilneas because it’s a not very popular spec. Okay then.

Bump this, needs to change asap. I feel like the main problems with the game mode is how 50/50 the games are. You will win most games if you have a good comp plain and simple.
