It’s a fact. BGB skill ceiling is very low and so is the skill floor. It’s a for fun bracket.
Yo we told them it is OP and to leave shadow step alone.

Yeah lol everyone saw this coming from a mile away and they still went through with it. Not stopping me from taking advantage of it though if they’re gonna take away one of our most important utility abilities.
That being said a lot of the people who complain about rogues have never actually played one. I’ve run into a lot of people who think we have 4x GH and Shadowstep, which isn’t true, but it still fuels their angry typing.
Teehee! :3
They do not play their own game. Thats why people are quitting in droves
Its just sad
You definitely can’t ignore outlaw rogues in blitz, or you’ll pay the price. However, teams typically have something to counter them. It’s not as broken as monk teleport with flag. Even if you don’t have much to contribute, you can at least switch to boots with a mount speed buff.
I would say Outlaw is substantially more broken considering:
(1) Their extreme mobility allows them to cheese several maps, including FC ones. Gilneas, EotS, Kotmogu, Silvershard – all ones where an Outlaw can contest or claim enemy nodes before them.
(2) Outlaw is one of the best FCs in the game, right up there with MW. The safest by far for getting flag + crossing mid. It only falls behind MW at base.
(3) MW port has a pretty simple counter: having a person sit their port. And they’re substantially more vulnerable than Outlaw getting to the flag and across mid. Very strong, certainly, but far from uncounterable like the advantage Outlaw provides on multiple maps.
I do not think they even bother watching others play the game at this point lol.

Either of the other two rogue specs are better picks anyway.

I feel like you’re really undervaluing that last caveat, considering you can’t cap the flag as long as the other team is also holding it. But good Outlaws will just pass the flag to a bulkier FC once we’ve already transported it halfway across the map for them lol
Also it’s worth noting that some of this cheese is already getting solved now that people are aware of it. It was able to pop off for a few weeks after the GH change, and still pops off at lower ratings, because nobody was expecting the node to be capped before they got there. But now I’m already seeing just how many specs have fairly straightforward counterplay for it, even with Smokebomb. Ring of Peace, Heroic Leap, Final Reckoning, Frozen Orb, DH mobility, etc. can all get there in time to interrupt the cap. Basically anyone with a targeted AoE effect. You just have to be ready for it when you see an Outlaw on the other team, just like how you have to be ready for knockbacks at LM in Arathi Basin. Sure, knockbacks will win random games at low CR at LM, but eventually you play against people who don’t lose to that cheese.
Kind of like eventually you face teams that grow the two extra brain cells necessary for one of them to camp a MW’s port. ![]()
Only that doesn’t require specific classes for any chance at countering.
