Hey All, I was curious about something with the Outland Cup if anyone can clue me in. I’ve been a big fan of Dragon Riding since DF came out but I never did any timed races until now. I think I spent the better part of two days trying to get gold in all the races. My question is, are they always that difficult to max out? I mean, some of them were cake walks… but there were two or three that really had me questioning my sanity and why I was even bothering with it. I’m relatively happy with having gotten it, but I feel like it’s not something everyone can do I guess.
Aren’t there titles associated with gold on all races? They have to make some challenging to justify the title I guess. Blizzard doesn’t like to give anything away 
Oh ya there is a title and tabard I got. But from what I understand, no one knows if the Outland Cup will come back at a later date. So I feel like it’s a FOMO thing.
I’ve had a lot of practice doing DF and other cups gold races so to me they were on the easy side. Only 2 races out of the 13 gave me trouble. Auchindoun and the Eye. And it will come back, only like in a year.
They’re usually around this difficulty.
A general tip I would give is to pool your vigor if you’re descending and spam it when you’re either level or going up. The biggest difficulty factor is navigating twigs that stop you in your tracks.

Oh lord yes, the last one I did was hellfire south west one, was a pain.
Omg I was at that Razorthorn one for a looooong time. Getting the reverse gold at The Eye was also a pain.
So a whole year huh, I would think they would make the transmog a little nicer if people have to wait a whole year to see it again lol
The currency doesn’t change. Odds are you’ll be able to buy it doing future cups.
They’ve said all of them will rotate back around, I believe.
But during those cups, don’t they have a different set of gear?
Can you buy azeroth’s set during outland cup?
None of them were that difficult in my opinion. I got most of them done, all three difficulties on gold in a try or two if I didn’t get gold on the first attempt.

The outland cup took me the least amount of time to get all gold in, idk if it’s because they are easier or I got better.
I’m really having a lot of fun with them.
Check the WowDragonRacing subreddit - there’s an Outland Cup post with one person’s # of attempts to get gold in each of the races/types. There are some comments as well. It may be interesting for you to compare which races you’re having trouble with compared to the ones on the chart.
