is there some turmoil with addon makers and blizz? seems like a lot of the old standby addons aren’t updated for 8.1, bagnon, bartender, quartz ect…
have they all just surrendered to elvui?

Some addon creators have probably left the game and found something fun to play.

I have found that all of the ones I use that were updated for the BFA launch still work. Only a handful had 8.1 updates.
Sadly gatherer and npc scan seem to still ne not working though.

They don’t need to be updated if nothing has changed their functionality.

i realize they might work, but i dont want to rely on them now if they just abandoned them. only a matter of time till we run into errors
I see what you mean. That makes sense.
someone suggested this - each addon has a doc file - just change the number in there from 80000 to 80100 and often they will work.
