Ousted for not clearing a normal dungeon 100%

They would make more exp, loot, and rep by just killing what’s in the way and running the instance more times, but apparently common sense isn’t that common. When I tanked normal instances, I asked what the healer wanted since I couldn’t give less of a f*** what mouth breathing dps’ers want.

WoW community at it’s finest right here folks.

This is how you should have handled the situation.

It doesn’t matter what the group wants to do. You as the tank aren’t their hostage. If they were smart, they’d just let it go and keep killing stuff.

At the end of the day they just wasted their own time. It’s always amusing to watch the ways in which people hurt themselves and never even be away of it. Unless they have a tank they can get there immediately, there is no reason to remove you.

Mouth breathing DPSer…. That’s a kind way to speak about three members of the party? Tanks and healers don’t down bosses… It takes a village! Besides most of us can tank with a few clicks of the respec button so don’t get cocky that tank gear is just collecting dust…

Why can’t we all just get along?

I spend a lot of my time questing 3 toons at a time. When I show up at quest givers for group quests, there are often people asking to join me. I usually invite them even though I can do the quests myself. I always have my group on free for all loot and when I invite someone, I usually don’t say anything as they loot every single mob. The point is, why does something so trivial like whether or not we take the time to down a few extra mobs make that much difference to either side?

It’s boils down to energy spent that is unnecessary. It’s better and easier to just play nicer.

I agree. I spend all day PvPing with office politics. I don’t need that in a game I play. It’s not worth my time to start an argument in-game. I don’t debate right and wrong in-game. I am either having enough fun to continue with the group or I am not. No hard feelings, it’s a game…

Listen… beyond them hills is a cave a dark deep cave full of sparkling treasures! But beware there are cave trolls!!

That’s the drama we signed up for!

I feel like I spend half my time picking poop up off the ground…killing mobs is serious business.

rolling laughing

I mean if they aren’t honored with CE before even entering SP the first time. They are the losers because they are doing it wrong.

250 unidentified plants gets u honored with CE.

The poop quests is what makes BC great.

It is a tradition throughout all of the expansions. I wouldn’t change a thing…

I don’t like catering to tanks and encouraging them to act like spoiled princesses, but that’s how supply and demand works. Personally I’m not a jerk about it when it’s me. I just roll on damage gear I want while tanking. I would sell tank runs if I were a dedicated tank, but I’m not. I brought this char up swing a 2h at alliance. I don’t like paladins or druids to begin with.

I mean in SP I’m not clearing every single mob. I’m not gonna go out of my way to skip everything but I’m not gonna pull every single piece of trash along the way either.

You should be rep capped before you enter anyways, so I’m there to take a shot at a drop and get the quests done. Outside of that they can find another tank if they don’t like it.

The rep is a big incentive for doing the dungeons while leveling.

With that said, I’d never kick someone for trying to skip. If I were you, I’d put toxic players like that on my ignore list, and I almost never put someone on my ignore list.

I’ve seen what “most of you” can do. I am not impressed or worried. You know what I do when a dps’er starts to run his mouth? /Ignore. You know what happens after? Nothing, because dps’ers are that important. I even take the time to mention in party that a mouth breather was put on ignore.

TLDR: I care what the healer or the tank thinks. End of story. Face it, the rest of you are there for the free ride.

People suck sometimes. They should have been grateful you tanked at all.

So I had 200+ plant parts on my herber, and my priest dinged 60 last night. Need 360 for CE honored, I needed 137 but saw the cheapest was a batch of 170 for 18g.

I really only need SP or UB for the dungeon quests and items from bosses.

For XP, there was HH dungeon grinding, then SP/UB for quests, then on to MT to start grinding Consortium rep.

If they dally in SP/UB for too long, they’re going to be overleveled for MT

Funny, the tank which is the least efficient at grinding open world mobs for XP could care less about grinding every mob in a dungeon and it’s the DPS whining… ofc DPS whines about everything under the sun.

Exception is recipe drops… oopps accidently pulled crypts raging skeleton (Dex chant) ooops pulled all the monks (felsteel BS recipe)

I don’t mind pulling extra mobs if someone needs something, but needlessly pulling for the xp? Nah find a group of friends if you want to do that.
