It’s really sad news, but it looks like we’ve lost Maryann Strossner, the amazing voice behind Scrollsage Nola (“a turtle made it to the water”) in BFA and Granny Marl in Legion. She passed away last April.

I always enjoy learning about the humans behind the cool voices we get to hear in game. My favorite panels are the old voice actors panel for Blizzcon.

Her IMDB lists her as doing the voice of Scrollsage Nola for SL and BFA, but it also shows she did it in Legion too and shows a date of 2016. But where in Legion is she or was she?

I tried searching but had no luck.

Ahh thx, I missed that. Looks like IMDB has a tiny mistake and gave Maryann Strossner credit for the wrong voice part in Legion.

The Tortollan story isn’t over quite yet, warcraft-secrets shows an unsolved secret called The Tortollan Wedding, found at 24.4 - 44.4 off the coast of Zuldazar. Its underwater and there is certainly something going on that needs solving.

As much as folks love to meme on Nola, she was a very talented voice actress who brought a lot of life to her characters.

I wish her family well, this is sad news :frowning:
