WTF! This crazy debuff in the maw is just beyond infuriating. I don’t know what causes one to get this when entering the beastwarrens, but I was trying to get to Mor’geth with a new alt and this mother fking 7 sec fear not only sends me so far into nearby mobs, but it takes away half my HP before it ends so I’m killed almost instantly as soon as I stop being feared. I can’t even get to my corpse to get my stygia because the fear occurs like every minute and I get killed again. This is just fking sadistic.

Skip to Korthia on that alt, and it will go away.
Oh, so is that what this is? There’s nothing in even wowhead that says what causes it.
That’s the debuff you get when you enter the Beastwarrens without doing Ve’nari’s quest to get rid of it, or doing the Korthia Campaign to get “The True Maw Walker.”

this is incredibly dumb. I died because of this, it rezzed me farther away from the safe area, now I cannot even get out without dying. I have 14 minutes left on my hearth so now I cant even play the game because of a stupid mechanic
