Other ways to earn Ironforge/Silvermoon Rep?

So for me to get the Heritage Armor sets so both Dwarves and Blood Elves, I have to not only be 120, but be exalted with thier respective capitals.

The only method I know is wear the tabard that gives rep when you do dungeons, but is that it or are there other methods?

And even with the dungeons is another question, does the rep rewards increase if I do a much higher difficulty, Normal BFA dungeons gives me 300 Rep with the tabard on. Does it give me more then that, like a 1000, if I do it in Mythic+?

Questing. All the quests in the Dwarf starting area up through Loch Modan and the Wetlands award 250 rep per quest. Same for the Blood Elves with their respective starting zones. The cooking and fishing dailies in Ironforge also award 250 rep each.

quest in those areas, do classic/bc/wotlk dungeons. those give you rep per mob killed and not just at the end of the dungeon or whatever.

What I did when I was farming reps was put on the tabard and find a dungeon that drops a mount you want, then run it until exalted. It’ll probably happen before you get the mount, tbh.

It doesn’t. Conversely, it doesn’t go down even if you outlevel the dungeon. The easiest way to get tons of city rep is to throw the tabard on and run Stockades (or Ragefire, as appropriate) as often as it will let you.

I topped off my Silvermoon rep with the Argent Tournament in Icecrown, but was simultaneously also raising Argent Crusade rep, and working toward some mounts. Still, the dailies let you pick the faction you represent, and some rewards can be further spent on city rep as well.

There’s runecloth turn-ins for rep for SW/IF/DARN, I don’t recall if they gave the Draenei and Blood Elves similar treatment.

You can also do old quests in their respective areas or from their respective npcs.

For Ironforge rep, turn on “low level quest” tracking and do any quests you see in Ironforge, Dun Morogh, and Loch Modan. The area of Wetlands with the dwarves fighting should also have quests that give Ironforge rep. Other npcs of the appropriate races may have quests that reward rep with their faction.

You also get bleed over rep with all the alliance factions when you get rep with one you are already exalted with. So if you are exalted with Stormwind, any quest that specifically gives Stormwind rep would instead give bleed over rep to all your non-exalted alliance capitals.

And finally there’s putting on a tabard and farming the hell out of the Stockades over and over :stuck_out_tongue:

The problem with Silvermoon rep is that most of Ghostlands quests go to Tranquillien rep instead. The main Dar’khan arc does feed Silvermoon, too, but it’s not the most efficient way to raise it.

I have heard that Arcatraz runs (because of the portal at the end that puts you back to the front of the dungeon) are the most efficient Silvermoon tabard dungeon rep grind.

Tabard runs in the mechanar dungeon region in outland . If done a certain way mechanar can be run after 6 minutes to your hearts content.

If you do it wrong, well you get 2 other dungeons right there. Found this good for rep on my blood elf. This night elf hits it up off and on. No rush for her heritage so not spamming this as hardcore.

Also can rake in some mogs to make it for more than rep.

Get bored hit the raid there too. No rep but some mogs to be found there.

edit: these dungeons have lots of “trash” mobs. Wipe them all, all rep is good rep. This is where the tabards help in old dungeons. Newer ones its that one payout on bosses. Older dungeons…you kill 100 trash at 3 rep, its 300 rep. Adds up quick.

BE starter zone + Ghostlands should be a good chunk of rep I’d think.

Ghostlands grants Tranquilien rep, which is useless.

Eversong Forest is good. I remember getting rep also from a small storyline in Desolace, where you find an elf near the border of the zone with Stonetalon. I think the quests in the Falconwatch or whatever belf tower area in Hellfire Penninsula also grant Silvermoon rep.

But the easiest way to up rep is running dungeons while wearing the Silvermoon tabard.

Whoops.
I don’t usually quest in Ghostlands so my bad.

Hmm… Maybe Falcon Watch in Hellfire Peninsula?

This was how I did it, it’s incredibly fast. Set a timer don’t go under 6 minutes per dungeon. Mechanar takes roughly 6 minutes and it has a door that leads you back outside in the end making it probably the most efficient dungeon there is.

Do the argent tournament dailies for those factions. They are in the tournament grounds in northern Icecrown in Northrend.

The tabards work very well, unless you just refuse to run dungeons. Even old ones work (or they used to). I think it was cata they were released, and I got exalted for all cities on most of my characters, just to get all of the bags for my bank (which are so small now, they are in their own bag, lol).

I use the dungeons outside of tempest keep with the tabards. They are quick and there is a port at the end to take you back to the entrance. You will have to do them a bunch of times, but it only takes a couple hours to go from friendly to exalted. Botanica (I think its called) is my preference.

This right here is a really easy way to get rep. Unfortunately it is also blocked by the number of quests you can complete for th faction in one day.

Run BC heroics. I finished from the beginning of honored to exalted in a couple hours. If you get all the trash and bosses you should get a couple thousand rep in every heroic.

If you have a Blood Elf or Dwarf farming rep right now, make sure to use the 14th anniversary event token to get a 14% boost to rep gains through the end of the month.
