Personally I vote yes.
Democracy is like letting the passengers decide how to fly the plane. The majority have no clue how a plane functions or how to properly vet decisions, and the minority that do are seldom listened to.

Considering how the votes went for the tree, no, i’d rather not
What i do like about runescape voting is that for some changes like completionist achievements, they require the voters to have a completionist cape. If blizz ever implemented a voting system for game changes, they should 100% require players to have the appropriate pvp/m+/raids/petbattling to vote on the changes if the changes pertain to those areas

well everyone pushed for scaling to be gone well not everyone but a huge crowd in pvp and look what happened pass just cause other games use stuff dont mean its right for this game.
Remember that time they let us vote on a new mount and everyone picked a tree that no one ever uses…
And really, you think WoW should use the Runescape design philosophy? >.> (I had to google OSRS to figure out what it is.)

I’d love a voting system, but they don’t necessarily need to apply it to every change, or be bound by whatever the vote says.
There’s a reason they had achievement requirements just to become a Guide. You need to prove your knowledge or experience before you get to steer the ship.

honestly i wish it was more on the casual side voting if they implemented something like this. they seem to do okay with endgame besides systems overload the casual side of wow needs help or even torghast voting. hope never brought here though.
OSRS voting wouldn’t work here. Any vote related to factions will be massively in Hordes favor, which is similar to OSRS’s voting and PvM v PKers.
Plus, OSRS’s community is quite a bit more homogenous outside of PvM v PK. There’s a general mistrust of the company that runs it and a general sense of what’d be best for the game. Also they riot like no other when things don’t go to their whim.
Here, the WoW community is hellishly fractured. From people who vehemently despise Blizzard despite paying them monthly, to the people who have licked the shoe polish clean off. There’s no cohesion and the voting will hold no actual power without it.
I say, whoever has the most forum posts gets to be the lead developer for a week! Congrats Celebrate!!
