Aside from the “Blizzard PROMISED” parts the post does hold true

Lol, people have been spouting the PROMISED bit for quite a long time. Here’s one example from before MT reintroduction was announced:

Bring back Legion Mage Tower Artifacts

There are no do overs in mage tower. Promises were made. People did the content based on those promises. Promises should be honored.

And another example:

Bring back Mage Tower and Legion looks

Well seeing as Blizzard is bringing back an event they promised never to unleash on the player base again as our new prelaunch event, I’d say Mage Tower skins returning in some way are an eventuality.
