It can’t be just me clawing my eyes out while I wait for Tal-Inara and Kah-Sher talk about how crazy it is that Im there just to get access to the flight path to get the hell out of Oribos… Can this please get skipped for new character’s coming to Oribos for the first time? Or have I missed something?

I’m pretty sure you can just take the portal to Oribos now. I’ve done so on characters that haven’t been to SL ever.
You still have to do the intro if you chromie time to SL for leveling though. Which, I’m really not sure why you’d do so.
There is a skip.
When starting the shadowlands expansion say youve heard this story before. This takes you to oribos. Then you get frozen in place and a guy comes over to speak to you. Select threads of fate.
And youre done. All zones and flightpaths unlocked.
(Probably not there for low levels though)
Interesting. I’m 80 on the toon Im doing it with. I can port to Oribos quickly, but then I have to do the whole into quest to to unlock the flight path.
