I revived an old character today, That I probably haven’t played since WOD.
I got the Dragonflight quest, which is good, but the second I go outside the gates of Orgrimmar everything is Legion. I was able to do the intro Dragonflight quests, where you talk to the expedition people, but they were standing next to the whole Legion cast.
I went and did a few quests in Dragonflight, come back thinking it might clear up, Legion is still there waiting for my character. I have no active Legion quests.
I go check Chromie, I am not on Chromie time.
It’s probably something I can fix, but how?
Will starting Chromie time and Legion, and then leaving Chromie time, turn off Legion?
It’s not messing with Dragonflight at all, but I am worried if I don’t get rid of it, it’s going to mess up other events held outside of Orgrimmar.
Also, if I don’t get back to answer this right away, it’s probably because Milton took my power down.
You likely just need to do the legion intro to get it to all go away. Legion, BFA, Shadowlands, and DF all tend to phase the capital cities.
Abandoning the quests usually don’t really clear it up properly.

^ This was the solution.
I had to go turn on Chromie Time then did the starts of WOD, Legion, and BFA - I didn’t need to do SL for all the phasing, just Legion and BFA.
Once I returned to regular time everything was back to normal in Orgrimmar. I can now just level in DF and when I get back to Orgrimmar all the messing time phasing is gone.
Just as a note, none of the characters I made recently are having this problem. I think it was just because it was such an old character that I revived.
If it’s an older character it’s very possible at one point you had picked up the Legion starter then abandoned it. It may have even been auto accepted, I wasn’t around at the start of that expansion to know if it was one of those “pop up when you enter the zone” quests.
Glad you got it all sorted out though! Nothing like an out of sync main city.
