So, it’s been steadily growing since Friday at least. Does anyone know why there’s a massive pile of corpses in the middle of the Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar on WRA?
Every time I log onto an alt in Orgrimmar the pile is larger

I’m wondering about this as well. I’m looking at it on an alt right now and it seems to be mostly horde corpses with a few alliance as well. Anyone know what’s going on?
Screenshots? What you are describing reminds me of the Tauren drowning pool in TB that used to be full of dead tauren with funny pun names like “cantswim” “glugglug” etc back on Mal’Ganis.
I heard something about an in game protest of sorts? However, I really have ni way of confirming that.
There was a lone corpse named ‘Blitzchung’ in the Valley for about a week now. I assume it has something to do with that?
They kicked us out of Undercity and we need to sleep somewhere.

Nah let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there were four blood elves who were bored. They decided to try and make a smiley face with corpses, like the hackers of old would do. Sadly, with only the four, it just looked like a few bodies.
Enter Altielle. I stumbled upon what looked like a mass suicide and thought “Huh, wonder if I can make this bigger”. So I sacrificed two of my alts and went on my way. A day later a few people joined. I shrugged and added another alt to the pile and resumed my Horseman grinding.
Aaaaand it kept getting bigger to my delight. By now it’s a self-sustained meme, seeing as people are now all talking about it and shouting to sacrifice yourselves to N’zoth and such. I expect it to get even bigger before the reset.
Keep in mind, this all happened after the Blitzchung corpse was removed with the previous reset, so I highly doubt it was involved with that. The reason I know it started with those four blood elves was because I recognized them as the original corpses I’d joined and they were telling people that’s what it was yesterday.
Some people say it’s a protest, and are killing themselves for said protest so I suppose some of the people involved ARE protesting, but most are probably like me where they just want to see how big this will get.

How are they doing it, is the question? Are they just sitting nearby on their ghosts, having a giggle?
Just fly up really high, dismount and splat. Then you release, and if you log after releasing it leaves your corpse behind.
