There should be flying for Azuremyst Isle and Eversong woods! Why? Because Lorderon and Tedrassil have been destroyed.
Why does that matter? Because I would prefer not to go to Orgrimmar as a Blood Elf and Stormwind as a Night Elf, but we are forced to.
Orgrimmar feels like a concentration camp with slaves being paraded around. Listening to the idle ramblings of the undead asking to be forgiven. It is disgusting. I do not even know why the Blood Elves have any allegiance with the Orcs.
We should all be able to pick our home city and avoid this nonsense. There should have portals in every major city, and be able to fly there.
At the very least, those of us that do not find this story could avoid it if we chose to and not be penalized for it.
Seriously, it is like the last season of some series that has gotten really really bad because someone’s ghost writer had an idea. A decade of playing and BFA character development makes me sick.

You can go back to the old Tedrassil by talking to the NPC.

Fun fact about Legion: originally, every class had a teleport spell to their class hall, each one with intricate and unique particle effects. The majority were removed shortly after alpha went public, with the stated reason being that Blizzard wanted people constantly moving through Dalaran to make the game look more alive. It’s the same reason they’ve put so much effort into pruning the number of useful cities.

I hate the fact that they have tried to make all cities except Stormwind and Org viable places to go. Every city should’ve had a portal room, transmog and barbershop. I hate being funneled to where they want us to go instead of where we want to be.

Sounds like a sign of a dwindling population.
Yes! Let the players choose the atmosphere that they want to reside in. Especially in the current climate of the politics of the game!
Like Orgrimmar can be complacent to the Alliance, Thunder Bluff be sympathetic and Silvermoon resistant. Giving everyone someplace to go and feel welcome.

Orgrimmar is the butt crack of Kalimdor. And not a tidy attractive butt crack either but an obese, hairy, smelly, and unwashed one.

Perhaps the game has the largest world of all MMORPG’s, and players sre more spread out. Of course, you didn’t come up with this reason, as a possibility, because you merely possess a hatred for all things Blizzard.

Oh yes… I’ve played for over a decade, spent thousands of dollars on all sorts of things not just Warcraft related. I hate Blizzard nods

Horde is evil, shocking development.

“Concentration camp” is not even close to the correct phrase you’re looking for.

The Horde is not Evil. SMH

Therein lies the issue. It’s a large world and the playerbase isn’t as large as it used to be, so to give the illusion of more people, they funnel us into one city per faction and we watch the other cities we love sit useless and dead— and then get destroyed— instead of understanding that some of us don’t care how many people we see in a city, we just want to go where we feel like it.

The reason flying isn’t a thing in Silvermoon / Azuremyst is because they weren’t designed with it in mind and things can get messy if you were to be able to fly there as a result. It has nothing to do with Bfa at all if thats what the rest of the post was meant to imply.
Having two Warchief’s turn into unforgivable tyrants that attempted the genocide of most of the races on the planet haven’t help repair the image of the Horde as a band of savage murderers. The one Warchief that could’ve fixed this got shafted by WoD they killed off in the Legion intro. Yes, I’m still bitter.
To the topic at hand, it never made sense for that class quest at level 20 to send you to org and sw to get stuff from SFK instead of the class trainer themselves.

The Alliance does the same as the Horde, but more subtlety. Perhaps you could play both sides, and see this to be true.

Not even more subtly in some cases. I mean, that’s kind of the reason blood elves exist as a Horde race, the alliance treated them as slaves.

While that’s true, the rest of the world wasn’t, either. Still not sure why they didn’t just tackle that mountain when they did cata.

Leave Silvermoon alone. You still have Undercity and Thunder Bluff.
Don’t ruin my beautiful relic with flying and a visual remake. We saw what happened to Org.

I too have been anxiously waiting since 2007 for the “reconstruction” of Silvermoon to end. I thought for a second that Battle for Lordaeron would finally be a good moment in history to bring it to the present and out of the Outland instanced map, but no.
It’s such a shame.
On that same note, Thunder Bluff has quite possibly one of the most beautiful and original designs in the game, with a more central location in the map and better strategic value (where Ratchet could’ve become it’s seaport) and it is wasted away.
Sometimes its staggering the amount of assets left to digitally rot away in this game, while others are constantly re-hashed for no reason.
I HATE Orgimmar.
