Rant begin
I’ve noticed that bismuth seems to be the only ore that actually goes for anything. Ironclaw and aqirite are dirt cheap in comparison. Because of this, no one mines Ironclaw or aqirite. This evening I found so many ironclaw that I think that we need a system to exchange ironclaw and bismuth. I’m serious here, Ironclaw is meant to be the “uncommon” ore, yet it’s more common and cheaper than bismuth. Not to mention the amount of bismuth you use in blacksmithing seems ludicrous. 10 unrefined bismuth ore and 1 core alloy, which itself is just 8 bismuth anyway. Slapping ore on a piece of metal does not an armor make, Just make it two core alloys and call it a day. Why don’t we have bars of these ores? Why must we alloys? Are we too cool to just accept making items from refined sources now? Additionally, why is the third bar we make require an item that is so rare that the cost of that item alone means you make no profit on anything you craft as a result? Lastly, either gives players each their own phased ore patches, or go back to the old system of them disappearing when people arrive. The amount of times I don’t get ores because the ore deposit magically disappears when I am mining it is beyond frustrating.
Rant end
Bismuth needs a boost in appearance or ironclaw and aqirite needs to stop stealing bismuth spawns.
Cafting reagents should not cost more than the end product.
Nodes should not fail to give resources if you have begun mining them, either give us the ore, or go back to the old “once mined it’s gone” system.
Stop using unrefined materials as crafting reagents.
