Okay so its been many years and like 4 expansions since Mists of Pandaria. Its time to lift the Ordos restriction already. I earned my cloak in MOP and I think its time to allow those that didn’t get the cloak to fight Ordos and go to that section of the Isle. It would open up locked content that only a select few get to access and improve that time played metric.

I’m not sure why they removed the cloak/ring questlines.
Feats for people who did it when it was current, sure, but just leave old story stuff in.

I agree it’s time. I have the cloak to. With achievement dates etc, those who got it back then
will always have that acknowledgement.
Maybe to ease the sting from those who do care so much about it, reinstate the quest line but not as drawn out to access it. It’s never going to be as irritating to do as it was back then, but it will give those who want it a sense of accomplishment as well.

There are certain mobs and rares up there too. But it’s still just the principle that non-MoP people will never have access to an area of this island and a world boss.
For no real reason either. The original point of the restriction really doesn’t matter anymore. It’s been such a long time. And it’s an easy fix to simply delete the cloak requirement.

There’s no justifiable reason for removing those quest-lines.
I’ve heard people argue they were “prestigious”.
They’re not prestigious in the slightest, all you did was some LFR’s or your regular guild runs for both (and it was Mists you likely were queuing LFR for tier even if you raided Normal).
And for the cloak like, literally two BG wins, and farmed 3 weeks worth of Valor? As well as a minor rep grind. That’s all. Basically outside of the rep grind, which you could do fairly passively too, just doing things you we’re likely already doing.
It’s absolutely embarrassing that in order to experience the full lore of MoP and WoD the only way is YouTube Videos and Private Servers.
(And yes, I have both the Cloak and the Ring)

In addition they should bring back all the content from 5.3’s The Darkspear Revolution which was removed because… ??? Who even knows.
They didn’t even have the decency to remove all the Kor’kron from the Barrens they added in FOR THAT PATCH.

You can get all the rares up there. You just don’t have access to the main area + Ordos. Just get a lift from the seagulls that fly around and kill them when you are over the area. Just don’t land in the courtyard or where Ordos is.
For the rare that does spawn in the courtyard. You can buy an item from one of the vendors and summon it on the lower sections of the Timeless Isle.

Ah yes! This is completely true.
I guess that just leaves Ordos himself, who only drops SoO lookalike gear. So again, I have to wonder why people would want access to him anyway.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind them putting those questlines back in. That way if people wanted to see Ordos for some reason, they could just get the cloak and see how underwhelming it actually is.
Yeah, Ordos in particular isn’t really spectacular, but the questlines were neat.

Not to mention the cloaks themselves are pretty handy in timewalking. So there would be a reason for people to get them.
There isn’t, people can get the same items from ordos elsewhere
Its an exclusive boss that is meant for people who were there and it should stay like that
Not sure why people want this, its similar to 40 man naxxramas, no one is ranting they can’t get corrupted ashbringer from original naxxramas

I disagree. It’s not like the questline had any mage-tower level challenge that would warrant it being a trophy for those who completed it when it was current content.
What we have now is basically a zone that will forever be inaccessible to new players.
This is coming from someone who has the cloak. The questline itself should’ve never been removed.
