I’m having trouble finding the new gpu’s and cpu’s (IE. the 5600x AMD processor / the new graphics cards 3060/3070/3080/3090 from nvidia) from canadian merchants… I’m wondering if anyone in canada has ordered from B&H in NY and has some healthy feedback? Looks like a pretty legit way to get my hands on the 5600x and maybe a new GPU in the future… Should add that when I checkout the price seems to good to be true, I think it’s even cheaper than buying one from a canadian merchant. Could be wrong though.
I can’t speak for the Canada part but I’ve had no issues buying from them in the U.S. in the past. I ordered a monitor from them and it arrived in a larger box with packing materials and it was pixel-perfect.
Ditto. I’m not in Canada but I’ve ordered things from B&H for years. I consider them a reputable dealer.
FWIW.
If you can walk into a computer shop chances are they can order what you want and then it should be cheaper as well then to order it and ship it across the border.
I was looking at BH as well but shipping and duties charges didn’t look that good. Of course you can risk it and just ship it but I wouldn’t.
Oh check out the YouTube/twitch channels for those that stream website checkers and announce it. 3090’s usually are in stock longer then the lower models but only cause who really wants to spend 2k on one.

Ah, ty for the feedback. I guess I can try using those website checkers haven’t had much luck with them. Although that’s because I’m not really committed to buying one at the time, I’ll give it a shot when I have some extra cash.
