Orcs, why do you love axe's so much?

I have no recollection of this so called “sword”

I did this with a throwing knife once I threw at a tree for practice, it came back and nailed me in the leg… good news is it was barely a flesh wound.

Also known as the 'dull axe"

See I compromise between the alliance and horde weapons, I use a polearm. Long handle and stabby bit so everyone’s happy.

Because the race loves to destroy the environment around them

I like choppy choppy, instead of slice

Thrall mentions it beginning of expansion. “Sword works but doesn’t feel right, need something with a bit more…. Heft. It just weighs more and means nothing to an orc in comparison to a puny human that needs something as light as a sword.

I mean if we go back far enough orcs had their axe mastery and humans had sword mastery. Mostly due to orcs having muscles and humans having tiny sticks for arms.

You see, the axe is a thick weapon and covers a lot of area visually. That combined with the way orcs hold them, this means I can hide my brass knuckles behind the axe for a quick surprise punch to the noggin’.

A sword simply does not have enough real estate to hide my massive fist.

Axes can be used for almost anything, cutting meat, cutting lumber, cutting my enemies, and ax throwing contests and games.

They just want to axe you a question.
