Orc's transmog is broken

Dear blizzard after you introduced straight up orcs I was happier than ever, until you made something weird with rig of the orcs (or helmets?) and their head pieces become like this.
Could you please fix it, a lot of helmets that I want to use int T-mog look crazy bugged.

The most annoying thing that it wasn’t the case when straight up orcs arrived in the game. It’s just appeared like month-two ago for some reason. So as I understand they can return everything back to “normal”.

Helm are always pretty hit or miss. It could be worse, you could be a worgen.

Yeah I agree. When I started to play Volpera I dropped only cause of how ugly helmets were on them cause of their snout customization. They must account for very long snouts of volpera and they tweaked every helmet to match the longest one, but I hate how helmets look on them with long version. I understand that there are more problems on other races with set pieces as well, but for instance Blood elves and Zandalari trolls have their gear tied up perfectly. Same goes for female versions of trolls and orcs

same thing can happen with the tauren also
cliping is sometime broken or down right funny

Not only are the helmets a bit off in placement but some of the shoulder positioning is off as well. Some shoulder pieces appear to be rotated backward, exposing a lot if their normal shoulder beneath.

Male draenei have a similar issue with the armor on their left shoulder. If you view them straight on in a model viewer you’ll see the shoulder armor on the right lines up fine but on the left seems to be off more towards the left. This was brought to the devs attention back in legion but to this day it hasn’t been addressed.

Could you also change Zandalari trolls male Jump in air idle animation, they weirdly planking diagonally which doesn’t make sense at all

Upright orcs are a perversion of nature.

Your first warchief was upright all along.

I just want my shoulders to stop floating.

Blackhand?

You can find flaws like this on every race / gender that isn’t Male Human.

This is because when they create armor, they use a default Human Male model to do it, then stretch and scale it to all the other races. (Even Heritage armor.)

There are literally perfectly fine variation of armor on the same models of orcs.

Also they were fine-ish right after straightup orcs were introduced. I wonder what kind of stuff they made and why so helmets become like this.

I don’t see any of that older stuff getting any attention, and honestly not upset about it myself. I’d much rather they did a complete overhaul on some of the more popular ones and bring them up to date. There’s classic for the purists and I’d love to see what the art team of today could do with the designs of the past. Got a taste of it in Legion and made me hungry for more.

The thing is that the problematic head pieces are also new from BFA and legion. it have something to do with rig of the orcs that they changed mid season for some reason.
I’m not talking about VERY old classic gear which is utterly dirty and garbo and should be retextured (which will they never do I assume) I’m talking more about recent stuff.

Oh really? Huh I guess I hadn’t noticed that. Yeah those definitely need to be touched up then if they are that recent.

Bumping again so someone from blizzards might look into it and actually care

Straight back orcs still don’t look very good, even after the fixes they introduced in 8.1 or whenever it was, I still role hunched most of the time because of it.

I’d wear more hats if they all didn’t make me bald. :sleepy:

Yeah, actually, this one issue as well. A lot of hats and caps make hair disappears completely, so it looks weird.
