They come from other worlds other than Azeroth and at least one race is more powerful than the others.
The only difference is that they’re not reincarnated.

I don’t know what kind of weeb stuff you’re talking about but this is a western game. Take your wayfoos and otackos back to final fantasy.
Post post, i realized this was a really stupid comparison.
The boy ain’t right I tell yea hwyat.
That’s… not what isekai is.
pushes up glasses, eyes obscured by the glare
draenei are degenerate hussies.
alleria is hot i tell you what.
Please don’t use that plot mechanism that way.
Also, no truck-kun. It’s not a real isekai without truck-kun.
i’m gonna fill you with my light.
Also they don’t have harems… unless you’re on a rp server XD
I don’t speak italian
We didn’t invade Japan to learn their language
Isekai means being “Trapped in Another World”.
The Orcs aren’t trapped. They opened a 2-Way Portal to Azeroth.
Incidentally it was only when the Portal was sealed in Beyond the Dark Portal that they started becoming Protagonists and only when it reopened in Burning Crusade that they started to lose their Protagonist Status.
Draenei whose World was too desolated to return to remained Good.
The Lightbound Draenei ruled by a leader born on Draenor is Villainous while the Draenei and Lightforged Draenei led by leaders serving as refuges from their homes on Argus which they can’t return to remain Good.
Personally I am displeased that Isekai regularly has a Player Isekai’d alongside his/her subordinates to a World when it would be more interesting to have a Dungeon without a Player sent to Another World and the inhabitants reacting to the new World they arrived in.
And by Dungeon I mean one like the one in Overlord which would have been a lot more interesting if the Player was not Isekai’d alongside the Dungeon!
The Dungeon of Overlord was like a Plane from D&D: most of it’s Levels were like the Layers of a Plane: a Pocket Universe into itself!
There was a Snowy Dimension Level, a Jungle Level, a Volcano Level, a Cherry Blossom Forest Level, the Business Center Level and the Throne Room.
Having an entire Plane of Existence Isekai’d without the Players into an Alternate Universe would be a sight to behold. Bonus Points if the Player who witnessed the Plane was infact a Sorcerer from said Alternate Universe Isekai’ing the Plane over because he/she thought it could save his/her Universe from Danger.
Imagine a Sorcerer traversing Universes to find someone who could save their own Universe. They stumble upon our World, get to know our Roleplaying Games and get the idea to pull a personally Customized Plane of Existence into their own Reality!
bring it you overglorified lightbulb. I’ve come across lite brites more intimidating than you.
