brothers and sisters of the horde (and alliance representatives) i come to you with a request for aid with a decision… i intend to roll a new orc, one worthy of the right to battle the alliance in glorious combat! one who has tasted the power of fel, but not given-in to it’s corrupting influence. yet… i’m at a loss for what skills would suit them best on the battlefield… or whether they’d choose between following the old ways of our people or the OLD ways of our people.
please, honored brothers and sister (and alliance representatives), aid me in this decision.
(translation: i’m gonna roll a new orc, and need help pickin what class would be strong in pvp, and fun to roleplay)

What better embodies the old ways of the orcs than a warrior? Orc warriors are rad. But if it’s a choice of those three I vote shaman. Enhancement is a lot of fun once you get a handle on their rather RNG dependent rotation.
Anything really, as long as its a male orc and whatever class wears the least gear…

hunter is an option, certainly, but i have one too many hunters in-general. the only way i’d feel ‘right’ rolling another, is if i deleted one of them. …and i’d rather not, since the hunters i have, have good roleplay potential.
except for my undead, but since he was my first character, i refuse to delete him on principal.
A perfectly good reason. Then Id vote for warlock, its one of my top fav classes.

Orc rogue in full tier 3 was a beautiful sight in classic wow
Orcs traditionally are crazy one man armies. Sneaking around as a Rogue or having a Warlock pet to sheild him from his glory in battle doesn’t seem right. Shaman is the best of these 3 choices, but i agree Warrior is the classic role for these guys. No shirt, no helmet, 2 handed weapon in both hands and get right in 4 enemies faces. Survival Hunter could be fun even though it’s not a much favoured spec especially for end game.
