I think orc paladins should be a restored and renewed Burning Blade clan, free from demonic influence. Both standard and mag’har. They should also work in some worship of Rukhmar. The BB penchant for fire, and Rukhmar being a sun god, that would all fit nicely with a lot of paladin abilities. I just think it would be cool. At the very least it would be cooler than handwaving it by saying some orcs just joined the Tyr’s Guard.

That would be cool. I don’t trust Blizz to do it, but it would be cool.
The one thing I might change is Rukhmar. I think both Mag’har and OG Orcs would be more likely to find something new on Azeroth to venerate over something from Draenor. Maybe some new fire elemental Lord rises up to tie it into Shamanism and since the Firelands needs another new Firelord since Smolderon joined up with Fyrakk. They could make it a whole story about them helping a new benevolent Elemental Lord rise up and take command of the Firelands.
It was thinking on the upcoming “herald of the sun” hero talents that made me think of it. But yeah fire elementals could fit nicely as well. Them replacing demon fire with regular fire.
While I wouldn’t be against the idea of an Orc paladin order surrounding Rukhmar, I think it would make more sense for them to join the Tauren Sunwalkers and/or Troll Prelates instead. There weren’t any examples I could find of any Orcs worshipping Ruhkmar. In fact most of what I found points to the Old Horde being at war against the Arakkoa and the AU Iron Horde mostly ignoring them.
Personally, I’m more for there being cultural exchange happening between allied races. Since the Orcs, Tauren, and Trolls are suppose to be very close allies, I like the idea of Tauren and Trolls sharing their culture with the Orcs, and the Orcs in turn sharing theirs. Maybe there could be a mingling of Tauren Sunwalkers, Troll Prelates, and a redeemed Burning Blade clan.
I suspect the existence of Eitrigg makes that one more likely tbqh (the devs don’t like to add specific flavor to classes except for, like, druid shapes)
And yet that’s what they are going to do. Still nothing stopping you from crafting your Orc pally like that.

Actually, I was thinking what if they were a group of Warriors that Revered Lo’gash instead?
That could work too. Pretty much anything other than lumping them all in the Tyr’s Guard would work for me.
