Best race for pvp ? Thinking stun resist will be much more usefull in pvp because of the abundance of rogues, and I hear stuns are rough on locks + lore is all about orc locks too.

If you’re going horde i’d say go Orc. Stun resist is really good, and of the three classes capable of a fear, only one of them can do it outside of melee range. So it’d be pretty obvious if say a priest is running up to you. Also, you have shamans on your side, so fear is definitely less of a threat with tremor totem around.

Orc’s can resist stuns (25% chance) which is useful against rogues, warriors, paladins, and cat druids.
Undead get WotF which is good against warriors, priests, and warlocks.
Overall it is based off these two options for pvp. Undead get added benefit in pve with cannibalize for some healing and underwater breathing longer while Orcs get 5% extra pet damage.
Only thing is as a warlock he wont be benefitting from that.

I’m going Orc lock. Meatheads in dresses FTW! The 25% stun resist is awesome, small pet DPS boost and blood fury. All great stuff.
*edit, forgot bloodfury doesn’t benefit magic

I honestly have felt like hardiness is OP in pvp. One of your main threats as a lock is going to be a rogue. That 25% stun resist is going to save your life more than once. I guarantee it.
Some people have mentioned the thematic nature of an undead, but honestly who is cooler than Gul’dan? No one.

I think both are great and you really can’t go wrong. I settled for undead because using WOTF to break fear in PVP feels great. However, it almost worth it to play Orcs because their gigantic shoulder armor looks great.

Depens on what class you want to excel against.
Orc you have 25% stun resist. Rogues, Paladins will hate you. Not to mention pers hit harder.
Undead has fear resist. That gives you an advantage against Priests, Locks. Undead also have cannibalize which is like an extra bandage for leveling.
That being said, Rogues can be nightmares and stun resist is nice.
Until the beta, I was going to play Orc Warlock and then I realized that blood fury does not enhance magic damage and you have to “mortal strike” you healing every time you activate it.
True, but the Stun resist and pet damage are way, way more important than being able to negate an uncommon CC, and heal over time on a corpse on a class that has healthstones and drain life. I’d say the only option is truly orc.

Orc is best for warlorc. Stun resist is the best racial for all classes, and doubly so for clothies. Warlorcs are the only clothes that get the opportunity to benefit from it, and it would be very much against the warlorc ethos to deny such power. Thematically obviously orc is the best choice as well, with undead a distant second.
Any of these sway your decision?
I was pretty much going orc and this confirms it honestly, the stun resist and lore is too much to pass up on

Also, those sweet casting animations are a plus
they do look goofy as hell on that mount though, but with full tier 1-2-3 gear, they look badass for real, more so than undeads
