Hate it. Or on my priest the light on my forehead and yellow eyes.
personal opinion. I like them; though I also wish we had the Legion option where they’d spin around, and a more “Kael’thas” option to make them green.
If the spheres bother you, you should play frostfire.
I also like the priest halo effect. These effects make each type of caster unique and recognizable at a glance.
When sunfury was nerfed my first thought was “at least I don’t have to see those orbs anymore”
Hiding them should be a glyph
Side-note – thank you blizzard for making the arcane familiar orb a glyph!
I don’t mind current orbs but I do miss the Legion version.
the sunfury orbs look ridiculous with the mage class mogs from the trading post. even despite the fact that they’re supposed to play into the exact same fantasy. i know that expecting blizz to be granular in that way is unrealistic, but i am sorta baffled that a lot of the passive appearance changes from the hero talents aren’t toggleable, they really should be. and i say this as someone who kinda likes the spheres and glowing priest eyes. warlocks don’t have to have soul shards floating around their heads…
Ironic that you reference Legion’s approach while being dismissive.
Legion had an npc that allowed you to turn the orbs on/off at will, no questions asked, no glyph. Maybe that’s what should happen instead of telling players to play frostfire.
