The aesthetic design of this game has never been an issue. Orbis is a pretty cool little hub.

I’m pretty sure Oribos does have some sort of announcement system. A few times I was there I heard muffled voices in the background as if they were announcements over a PA system.
Oribos is what happens when you ask WoW designer to build a Halo map.

Purposely so. You could FLY in Dal. In Oribos you can’t even mount in most of it. Rather than just placing dismount auras on the NPCs like they SHOULD have, random hallways (I say random because one of the 4 entryway paths at the cardinal directions dismounts you and 1 doesn’t.) are considered indoors and just dismount you. Nightfae actually has an advantage here as it doesn’t remove their soulshape because whether you can mount or not it’s still considered a rested area.
Legion was actually really good. Not Wrath or BC good, but still good. It had alot of problems from the start, mostly issues with not being alt friendly, but those were resolved. Then the BFA team completely disregarded every lesson they learned in Legion and made the game so terrible Shadowlands seems GOOD in comparison. It’s not, but it seems like it.
No surprise there… Oribos is a mandatory travel hub for all SL content. Folks HAVE to pass through it to get to any of the zones.
Everyone goes to Orbis because they’re good for investment. Gotta get those GME stonks while they’re good.
