I started a flight from Ardenweald to Maldraxxus and went to the corner store for some sodapop. When I got home my character was barely landing.

I do like it, I think it is a cool central hub and I love the atmosphere that it provides. Seeing all the different covenants/races mingle and walk about is honestly really cool. However, it does get a bit old after a while.
I just think they couldâve just made it more expansive and have more interesting layers. its obviously a massive tower, but we only see two of the layers and the rest of this massive floating building is just apparently empty. Also, why the hell do we not have portals to the realms, and no auction house? Like come on youâre seriously telling me a broker wouldnât set up an auction house (and make gazillions of gold) or a portal system thatâs a small fee to use (and also make gazillions of gold)? Also the fact we canât see everyone yeeting themselves into the maw on the lower level is just a wasted opportunity because that alone wouldâve made Oribos my favorite city.

Oribos really does feel like an airport. It almost makes me wish there were ships going to the zones instead of flight-paths. Totally inconvenient, and I can hear everyone pulling out their pitchforks as I suggest this, but if itâs going to be a sterile travel hub, might as well feel like a real travel hub.

I feel the opposite, like it has absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. It feels⌠sterile.
Itâd be nice if there was a bit of vertical development. Maybe inns above the central floor and whatnot, so it didnât feel so segmented.

EDIT: I mean this would be legitimately cool, because it would be humorous, immersive, and self aware. There have been depictions of the afterlife as a kind of airport in other media â American Gods comes to mind.

It could have been a little more interesting if each zone had itâs own flight master and each one used their regional mount. We would just go to where each âgateâ is and mount up. The only catch would be when we got to Orbis we would have to hop off and go to the appropriate gate for our destination. I would not mind hoofing it that small amount (or ground mount) in order to have a little different flavor than spending 80% of my time on the back of a reskinned panda land dragon (that is also totally bland).
2, 4 and 6 hours I think. Might be 8 hours for the longest one, Iâd have to double check.
But thatâs still 3 ways to the Org portal room quicker than Dalaran Hearth.

I mean, if I had to go there like a lot⌠but Dalaran is only a 15 minute cd and w/ the garrison hearth, I can pop to mage tower, then Warspear and then to Org. The cloaks are two slots I can use for something else.
For the first time my stone is not based in a major city. I keep mine at my Cov and maybe hit Orb once or twice a week. Lore and story wise it works but playing in game the disconnected realms are nothing more than a pain in the back side

True, I just hate hitting back to back to back load screens.

I only use it to pass thru to other zones. all my characters are bound at the covenants
Particularly the one monopolizing the caster section and leaving un-purchased merchandise strewn all over the fitting room.
