Can anyone tell me if the “Orb of Deception” still exists in regular WoW, not Classic? I look it up and every reference is pertaining to Classic. Thanks

I just sold one recently.
AH usually has one or two up for sale.
My nephew had it drop during Pandaria while in post Cata zone, so it’s still around. I think he was near gadgetzan.

I’m not a high enough trust level to post links, but I would suggest going to wowhead’s non classic default page and typing orb of deception in the search bar.

It’s a high-level classic-era drop, so it’s rare. But a possible way to get it is by downing Ragnaros and Nefarian each week, as both are guaranteed to drop a couple BOE blues of that level. I got mine from nef.
Yes, it does. It’s a random BoE drop from Nefarian and (allegedly other mobs like Rags). I’ve gotten three from him but never anywhere else.
I’ve picked up 2 in the last few months, both from chests.
One of those chests was behind the battle pet trainer in Winterspring.
I got my orb way back in vanilla, when they were cheap as dirt on the AH. I love it.
