I wish Blizzard would let Oracle Priest be more about shielding as healing since Voidweaver is Atonement based. I would change the Assured Safety talent from:
Assured Safety: “Power Word: Shield casts apply 4 stacks of Prayer of Mending to your target.”
To:
Assured Safety: “Power Word: Shield casts apply 4 stacks of Prayer of Mending to your target. Crystalline Reflection includes Divine Aegis at 50% effectiveness.”
So hovering over Crystalline Reflection with the new Assured Safety talent would read:
Crystalline Reflection: “Power Word: Shield instantly heals the target for (42% of Spell power) and reflects 6% of damage absorbed. Divine Aegis instantly heals the target for 21% of Spell power and reflects 3% of damage absorbed.”
I would also change the talent Eternal Barrier into a new talent called Bonded Barriers. Bonded barriers would be:
Bonded Barriers: Your crit chance is increased by 1% for each ally with your Discipline Priest absorb(s). This effect can’t exceed 10% while in a raid.
With these new talents, Oracle Disc Priest could really put power back into the shields. I believe these talents would also make a more left-leaning talent build to be quite effective as well.
