The visual effect of oracle priest (glowing eyes and runes around the head) is distracting and clashes with certain transmogs. It would be less of an issue if the effect was limited to combat or if there were an option to disable it, but currently, neither is possible.
Blizzard, please consider adding a glyph or talent that either removes the visual entirely or makes it appear only during combat.
Same… I’m loving the visuals a lot but I insist that those vfx don’t fit all races/themes/transmogs.
As far as possible solutions we can suggest:
1.- A toggle option
2.- Have it appear only while in combat (which in a way would be sad because I do like them)
3.- Glyphs for color variations which in my humble opinion would make pretty much everyone happy.
4.- Racial Themed glyphs which would make me really really but really happy because on top of coming with different colors they would also slightly change the floating image on our foreheads. Like for Night Elves we can have a white glow with a crescent moon
Wow, I must be uniquely unobservant, since I was playing around with Oracle for hours yesterday and didn’t even realize there were visual effects. (In fairness my attention tended to be distracted by the Weakauras).
I wouldnt want it limited to only combat, I don’t even really want the other visual limited to just in combat, I’d like to see it whenever I use spells in or out of combat.
The solution is to just add a glyph that hides the effects, at least the passive ones that are permanently there even if you are idle.
It has a pretty solid visual in combat. You get a triangle hologram thing (that you usually see Velen with in pictures) on your body and each premonition has its own glyph, insight is at the top of the triangle, piety is to the right and solace is to the left. With clairvoyance all three of them show around the triangle. Its very cool.
The out of combat visual is much harder to see, its a third eye on your forehead and a golden glow on your eyes. People like taking pics/screenshots of their characters in game though so I could see that getting a bit annoying even though I like it.
