So im leveling a holy priest and im new.
Been reading wowhead and I do like to run both raids and mythics.
Should I spec for oracle or archon? And is there a need after that to keep switching between the raid and m+ builds?
Both are completely viable in all content.
Archon is easier to get into and Oracle has more complexity with its Premonition. An M+ build won’t be “optimized” for raid and a raid build won’t be “optimized” for M+, but you can use either in both forms of content.
Try them both, see what you like. Read through the talents and see what appeals to you.
I don’t do raid so only talking for M+ at 3k io.
Personally I prefer Oracle over Archon as it gives more AoE capabilities since Archon is heavily tied with Halo on a 1min cd while Oracle has great passive AoE healing via PoM.
On top of that you have awesome cds on premonition to help you in a lot of situations.
Both are totally viable tho, you can do great with whatever suits you better. Archon also has less mana issues than Oracle and is a bit more mobile cuz during halo you get a lot of instant flash heals.
Try both but Mind you, Archon is super easy to catch while Oracle has an extra layer of difficulty, so keep that in mind and give both Hero talents a lot of tries.
