Options to the Void Elf "Entropic Embrace" racial effects

I don’t want to derail Sara’s thread but man I would like that… I have friends on both the Alliance and Horde sides and I would love to be able to play with them. I just had to comment on this bit because its personally something I would love to see if Blizz could do it right.

So when Danuser said that the Wildhammer tattoos on the Dwarf Player Character meant the player could envision their character as a member of the Wildhammer Clan, he was wrong?

I don’t think OP mentioned anywhere that the intent was to give the Blood Elf racials like Arcane Torrent to the Void Elves.

Don’t tempt him.

I’m still failing to see where people are making the connection of void elves getting light skin options to be that we’re getting/recruited high elves.

I’m still stressing the fact that blizzard has ZERO MENTIONS in any of those articles and there is ZERO MENTIONS of the words “High elf” in Ion’s twitter post regarding this.

People are 100% pulling it out of the air that these are official high elf skins and when I ask people why they think such, the response is usually “Well blue eye colors are specific to high elves”.

They stated IN the article that “void elves will be getting blood elf skin tones”.

These threads have gotta stop or blizzard needs to release an official statement.

Edit: Also bringing up the fact again that nobody ever had an issue with the visual of entropic embrace until this whole “high elf skin” issue. Suddenly out of nowhere all these individuals who never cared about void elves before suddenly have all these opinions on the direction of the race.

and it’s so completely transparent

First of all, her.

Second of all, no. I rather not have Arcane Torrent.

Third of all, I was just giving options on what could be posible to have Entropic Embrace effects disabled.

It’s all the same make us high elves stuff. You got more compromise than most would expect. Be happy and stop asking to totally change the race.

Where am I asking to completely change the race?

As I said several times in the opening post:

They can envision all they want but stop trying to make them helves

I wouldn’t assume your gender, when someone talks of op “him” is for me fine to use, most people generalize to the male term.

Yes removing the void effects from void elves. I understand.

Well the Alliance aren’t recruiting Quel’dorei since they’re already canonically a part of the Alliance. The game will still treat the player character as Void Elves, but it’s clear the developers are perfectly fine with players using the new skin tones to portray an uncorrupted High Elf character if that’s what they want to do.

Same thing as the dwarf Wildhammer tattoos.

I am not asking for anything to be removed. My god, do you ever read anything before you post?

Okay, but again, where does that post mention anything about high elves? You’re deflecting my question and making up your own little story to explain something even blizzard hasn’t explained to us yet.

You are 100% making assumptions and then y’all are trying to pass off your assumptions as fact because its “OBVIOUS”

It doesn’t mention anything because it doens’t have to. Quel’dorei are already in the Alliance. This would be like if the Tauren got an option to look like Taunka. It wouldn’t mean that there’s new lore to mention their recruitment because it already happened over ten years ago.

Quel’dorei rejoined the Alliance a very long time ago. The article doesn’t need to remind people fo something that’s already obvious.

Yeah, you did not read anything in the opening post, which means, you jumped to conclusions way to quickly.

Okay but again your answer is 100% speculation and you’re giving me absolutely zero facts to back up any of your claims.
