I’ve been looking online to see where others might be on the idea of partial transmogs (i.e. Robes but only showing the top of the bottom half of the robe and transmogging the other part with the opposite) I wear cloth a lot as several caster classes, and I have some good ideas for different mog sets, but I really love the top of some and bottoms of others, but I see they would mog well with something else for the other half. Im tired and can’t find a better way to explain, but if this makes sense then my job is done here!

NPCs have been able to do what you are describing. In additon, it might be nice to layer chestpieces like npcs do–old model Chromie was wearing a robe with a gold mail chest over it. Some lightforged draenei in the SW embassy area are wearing a crafted draenor plate set with a shiny bc breastplate on top of that. And then there’s this guy…

Agree, it would open for so many new combinations.
If they were able to make the separate shoulder toggle, maybe a skirt toggle isn’t far from what they can do.
