Option to skip the harbinger questline on alts

i would like to be able to skip this questline on my alts if i already completed it on my main.

Blizzard made a workaround for alts so they can skip the quest but it’s a bit tricky

You walk up to the quest giver, and then walk away

but then i abandon quest and it is immediately put back in my quest log when i log back in as well as putting the dalaran hearthstone in my bags, taking up bag space for no reason.

i dont see why i should be forced to do this questline on every alt on my account to remove the dalaran hearthstone from my bags permanently

hide the quest (shift click) and ignore it till expansion

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure he means, you turn in the initial breadcrumb quest that pops up on your screen, and then decline the next step. Done.

does that delete the dalaran hearthstone from my bags as well?

Do the initial quest. Dont pick up the follow up. Both issues taken care of

it would be easier if there were simply a “i’ve already experienced this quest, please skip to the end” option, right?

not once you turn the quest in. And if it still is (which it shouldnt be. Wasnt for the alts I did this on) destroy it.

Not this late it wouldnt be. Turn in the quest and if you still have a hearthstone, delete it. Move on with your life.

but it would be nice if it were added at the beginning of the patch when the questline was released, right?

it doesn’t hurt to have that option there, correct?

Theyre not going to add it, so the question is irrelevant.

well they retroactively added that option to questlines in the past, so it is not definite that they won’t add it here as well.

you know the BFA questline for mechagon? there are parts of it where you can now skip if you completed it on a main - but that wasn’t always there.

I’m with the OP. I came here looking for the same thing. I’d like these options in my account settings actually so they don’t have to do anything special for each campaign…

  1. Never show my alts a campaign quest I’ve already done.
  2. Never show me a cutscene. Not even the first time… dont care.
  3. Never pop up a window with a talking head. (BeQuiet addon works for this)
  4. Never show popup tip windows. I know I have unspent talent points, stop blocking my gd bags.

Also please stop with the force-feeding quests in the first place. A bulletin board in capital cities will suffice. I also don’t need ancient WQ’s popping up every time I walk through an old zone either (ie Dalaran).
