Option to opt out of prepatch event

single player game? you can already level alone with little impedance from this event if you pick an empty zone, the opt out switch would mainly be for those who are just burnt from content looking to socialize or chill.

It doesn’t matter. Just because you can play it somewhat like a single player game, doesn’t mean it is one and you get to live in a bubble catered to that kind of gameplay.

Imagine telling people not to log on their fav mmo cause of an event you wanna force others into for your horrible meaning of forceful fun.

It’s a short term, one time event.

Seriously, it’s not a big deal.

I’ve opted out of the zombie portion. Haven’t even seen one and still doing a few things in BFA.

Please do. I don’t want carebears in Warmode. I don’t even want to be on the same server as you.

i understand, internet tough guy. it’s so horrible actually having alliance to kill. which is why none of the fer the herd!!! horde on classic (which are just retail horde) transferred to ally heavy servers. instead they literally all congregated on the same few large horde servers. if yall wanted to actually fight instead of posturing about what bad butts you are, you’d put your money where your mouth is.

Internet tough guy? I want to play alongside people who actively choose to be on a PVP server. Sick of people whining about being ganked. I leveled in Dark Iron outnumbered by Alliance 10-1 in the Vanilla hey days due to the Penny Arcade Alliance. I got ganked doing the escort quest in Felwood. Hearing you guys whine about the slightest inconvenience shows me just how bad Blizzard did us when we got combined with PVE servers.

I took the only opt out I was offered by Blizzard. I’ll just not log in for this week, works for me.

i play mostly on normal rp servers. i don’t care if you want to gank literally every single alliance on your pvp server, since that’s what they signed up for. blizz objectively got rid of pvp servers though. because of pve heroes who were “forced” to be on the big pvp servers cuz that’s where all the raiding guilds are. i didn’t do that. i was asked by my friend and future wife to play on illidan and i told them to get the heck out. that’s not me that did it my dude. i pay for my little carebear experience the same as you do your bloodbath pvp one. we’re just different players who want different things.

Then suck it up.

Your truly a selfish and horrible person, forcing your will on others. You should feel ashamed. On the bright side, you selfish and horrible PVP’rs will have to continue suffering in PVE to keep up in PVP and we raiders/M+ players will still crush you and make you rage quit

If you are getting trashed by a couple zombies with 1 spamable melee attack you should probably pick a different game to play.

And yet you lost nothing, until a zombie blew up on you. I lost my PvP server. It’s not pvp when you can just turn it off.

i know, sir. i don’t agree with it either. imo they should’ve just allowed free transfers off of pvp servers to pve ones for those people. if they chose not to take it cuz MUH GUILD then they could’ve just sucked it up, and stopped whining. i actually made a druid on illidan once to play with my friend while she was there. got him to silverpine and there was a nelf rogue there and i waved to him. he camped me. i deleted him and never went back. lol. it’s not hard to take responsibility for your own choices or to do things to make your life easier. for me… being able to quest in peace was worth more to me than raiding with her guild. now we’re all on WrA and it’s better. we’re all WM off though. given what you’re saying though you should be more understanding. you lost your pvp server experience to pve crybabies. pve server people are now into forced wpvp and are losing OUR experience because of blizz being… i can’t use the word. but you know what i mean.

I was perfectly happy with my pve server, I never once asked for a change even when on the pvp server i started on, I just paid to transfer me and my wives characters over

it was raiders who did it. most big wig raiding guilds are on the big pvp servers. they felt “forced” to be there to be “competitive”. though that, like most things, gets blamed on casuals. and we mostly just… transferred away or rerolled.

Turn war mode off …talk to the npc that removes the de buff … Done …why is every one complaining about the most fun event in wow history …

I paid for somewhere between 15 to 20 character to be transfered, It was years ago I don’t remember the exact number.

That is the complaint, War mode is always off and Blizzard decided they would turn pvp on anyway. Remove it, they keep putting it back. It’s so much fun I keep forgetting to play, But I will remember again next tue when it’s over.
