Like the title says, there is no option to add someone from Alliance while on Horde to your character or battle DOT net friend’s list. You cannot inspect them. You cannot duel them. You cannot do pet battles with them.
Right clicking on their names does nothing but show the options to report or ignore them.
This all started on 8.2 and I’m surprised there isn’t a top-level thread on it.
Alliance as well cannot inspect, duel, pet-battle, or add Horde to Battle dot Net friend’s list either!
Yeah there is no way I can inspect, b-net add someone, and cannot duel them.
I had no idea this was even a thing! I haven’t spent a lot of time on my Horde toons… Is this the first time anyone has said anything about it?
Having the same problem. How can I kick my Alliance friend’s butts in duels now?
You would think it would be a PRETTY huge deal that Horde cannot petbattle or duel the Alliance. Seems to be a UI error too, as “/duel” while targeting Alliance will work.
But there is no text command to petbattle Alliance.
So no friending, no inspecting, no dueling, nothing. Can we get an explanation?
Is anyone else having this problem? Seems to not be faction based, it’s effecting both Horde and Alliance. No inspecting, no dueling, no pet battles.
I am having this issue and it’s damn nightmare.
Still a huge issue. Sent in a ticket for it. Still no one talking about this? Or do people just not interact with the opposite faction outside of RP realms?
Sent in a blue ticket about this and got a reply that this is a “known issue”. No ETA on when and if it will be fixed. Kind of really annoying when you can’t friend people of the opposite faction when you want to play together.
New patch and still no fix. Kind of frustrating not being able to friend Horde, duel Horde, inspect Horde, pet duel Horde, etc, etc, etc…
I think it’s because you’re in warmode. I have warmode off and I’m able to inspect Horde as much as I want.
I am not in warmode. The bug issue has been reported and they are aware of it.
Once again, inspection is not the only issue.
