Play Horde. It’s what the devs want. Don’t worry, they’re not even the bad guys anymore.
what’s so wrong with having alts for both factions?
If we want to talk about effort, did you ever look at a Horde garrison during WoD?
Seriously, we turned in a RIDICULOUS amount of quests to Alliance figures while they actively tried to kill us and would say something rude/insulting/obnoxious whenever we turned in. And they next expac bam Horde are filth. We had no presence for an entire expansion, but now BfA has lopsided story while still a crap ton Alliance and suddenly it’s violins out.
until the next theramore, or teldrassil, or captial city/undercity, or Gilneas…
how many cities are still left the horde haven’t destroyed yet? we have PLENTY of cities left for the horde to destroy, at least 3 expansions worth don’t worry guys.
Nothing really.
I have a 120 horde alt which I use to spy on gankers in Darkshire and Redridge.
Actually it would be interesting to see the Alliance play the ‘’’’’’‘villain’’’’’’ in this story.
Of course that would mean the Horde has to be the victim. Like. the real victim. I want to see cities lost. Alliance killing Horde casualties without remorse. Children weeping the bodies of their parents. You know, the stuff the Horde did to the Alliance?
But we all know the Horde playerbase would lose their collective minds over it.
So then play Horde. It’s a two faction game that allows players to play & enjoy both faction experiences. I know I sure do.
And what if I told you all that you aren’t banned from playing both factions. This game isn’t designed around locking you into just one faction. It’s been said multiple times by the devs; playing one faction only gives you half the story and half the game.
Are you sure you want to talk about WoD? The ORC expansion? Are you really sure?
I’d say 53%/47% depending on your choice.
Removing cities has always been a matter of balance. Teldrassil gone, Undercity gone. The reason that Theramore was removed was to balance out the map, since Alliance always had more areas and assets from the beginning, since early WoW development was almost entirely about the Alliance player experience.
There was no Theramore equivalent for the Horde, so Blizzard removed it. Same reason they balanced out the zones in Cataclysm’s world revamp. The vanilla/bc/wrath maps were tilted heavily to Alliance, Cata evened things out.
those orcs were not part of our horde. duh?
Horde players would never accept losing like Alliance players have.
They would absolutely LOSE IT. Constantly harassing and swearing at the devs, flooding the internet with their outrage over just a taste of what Alliance have experienced.
It would never happen trust me Horde players are snowflakes. The salt I have been seeing over the last 4 months from Wyrmrest Accord Horde players getting their asses handed to them by Moon Guard alliance players turning war mode on lol… They don’t want anything to be fair. Horde players just want to win they wouldn’t accept anything less.
have you done the horde campaign? “losing” the entire horde warcampaign is undone by the alliance one. which is one of the most important things this expansion.
It was an orc expansion because we were slaughtering orcs all the time.
If you want them to make an expansion where we go to an Alternate Universe and murder Night Elves 24/7, I’d be all for that. But I wouldn’t call it an Alliance expansion, since those Night Elves wouldn’t be part of the Alliance (and we were, you know, killing them, so… not really a point in Alliance’s favor in any event).
Irrelevant. You people claim neutral characters are Alliance characters but we teamed up with former “evil” orcs on WoD too. It was an ORC expansion.
Apparently if orcs are present it’s Horde only. Like I’m pretty sure those orcs and Gul’dan are enemies of both factions, and are the reason factions even exist.
you know more expansions have been alliance centric than horde centric right? even back to vanilla it was mostly human stuff. but okay…

Irrelevant. You people claim neutral characters are Alliance characters but we teamed up with former “evil” orcs on WoD too. It was an ORC expansion.
Sure. But an Orc expansion is not a Horde expansion.
And Velen IS an Alliance character, and always was, since his introduction. He was never even ‘temporarily neutral’ but we have to do what he says anyway.
Although Horde players are used to that, we had to follow Anduin around in Krasarang Wilds while leveling even though he’s an enemy faction leader. /shrug

If you want them to make an expansion where we go to an Alternate Universe and murder Night Elves 24/7
I’m so, so sorry the destruction of their capital city wasn’t enough. You know, the thing that you’re pretending equates to killing off tons of NPCs? Yeah. That one. When [Insert Hero You Think Served As the Alliance’s Insertion] personally burns down your garrison than you can you try comparing the two. Or are we going to pretend people actually miss the Undercity now?
See, I can actually picture them pulling an alt-universe where we just slaughter elves because after the whole ‘ascension’ night elves got I’m honestly surprised the race hasn’t just been officially killed off.

And Velen IS an Alliance character
He sure did a lot for the Alliance in BfA didn’t he?

we had to follow Anduin around in Krasarang Wilds
Thrall called from Cataclysm. He’s reminding you that he escorted plenty of Alliance people himself. Or are we pretending Thrall’s horrible wedding quest line never existed? If you wanted to cite something truly atrocious you could just point at our journey with Tyrande and Malfurion.
