I am in the process of trying to do the quest operation toy rescue , I get to the part to talk to nuts in Dazaralor and nuts isnt there. I had a guild member take me there and as soon as we went in to the area he phased and could see nuts and i could not.

ive spent 2 days trying to do this quest. its bugged. i cant find the toy ball. i found the missing page but cant find the ball. when i go to where its supposed to be, its not there. yes, i have my Idol of Ohn’ahra on
It’s been two days for me too, and the whole city of Dazar’alor is empty. There’s no NPCs in the city, no guards, and no Nuts. Where are we supposed to hand the quest in to?
Edit: if you have any of the earlier Battle for Azeroth chapter quest unfinished, abandon them and see if this phases you out. It phased the city back to normal for me.
I Also have the phasing issue in Dazar’alor. No npcs
Bugged for me as well. I was able to loot the toy, but no NPCs so can’t talk to the squirrel

Yep. I have no BFA quests in my log other than the “Time to Fly”, which I abandoned. Didn’t help. Can’t see the squirrel when or any other NPC when I go into that room.
*I realized I was on an alt. Apparently you need to do the BFA intro stuff. I did them up until I needed to pick a zone like Nazmir, etc. Went down and the squirrel, and all of the NPCs, were there.
Im on my main that did all the bfa content when it was current. I tried it on one of my alts and got the same results.
Are you looking for the toy ball in Dazar’alor? Because it’s not there. It’s not in any BfA zone at all.
Follow your clues.
I had the Allied Races: Zandalari Troll questline in my log. I had to finish that and invite the horde to Zandalar before NPCs/Nuts would load in for me.
i think i found the solution. check to see if there is a guy in the top at the entrance to the portal area and stuff that if you ask him where everyone is he says at the crowning ceremony. look to see if you have quests at the north west of the city at the steps. the princess is getting crowned and the council is with her causing a phasing issue. she takes you on a ride then you have to deal with rioters n more. if you finish all of those the area might de-phase.
