Operation Mechagon: Workshop Dominate mind Tinkerer squirrel pulls boss

In the clip I’ll link you can see I tell the tinkerer to shoot his squirrel at the trash we are fighting but it ends up going on the boss and being hit by beast cleave. We aren’t close so the boss resets after. Is this some old known bug?

Anyone know why it went on the boss instead of the pack?

Seems the squirrel’s target is random.

Subsequent usages indicate it is targeted.

Never seen it pull the boss during BFA and it was frequently mind controlled as part of the run.
