Operation: Mechagon Is Harder Than +15s

Mechagon is super easy. Are you cray cray? Literally just follow mechanics. The dungeon journal explains them.

The only thing they could possibly tune is the fact the bombs can reposition while a melee is being targeted during phase 2 of King Mechagon, directly in the path the melee is running, forcing them to run the other way, which is 100% the direction the ranged/healer ran to avoid the beam, and often results in the ranged/healer being killed.

Which in those situations ends in one of 2 situations: The melee has to sacrifice themselves, or the melee has to kill the ranged/healer. Which should NEVER be a situation that occurs. There should always be a way, with mechanics, that players can avoid death. They really should prevent bombs from being able to reposition towards a melee that is being targeted by the beam in phase 2, period. Especially since melee can’t see behind them unless they are zoomed EXTREMELY far out, and most people can’t play that way.

Well, not for me and my group of friends, but we’re pretty poor players. Still I wouldn’t put it anywhere near the range of a +15. Maybe a +1, and I say that only because my friends and I can do plain Mythics fine.

Are you saying my friends and I aren’t as bad as we are? Because I can honestly say we couldn’t even get past the first bosses in Mechagon.

Uh what? Have you even done a +15 this season?

Mechagon is ez. It felt hard when we first went in because we didn’t know the mechanics, now it’s an easy one shot even through hardmode.

Apparently the OP hasn’t, because he just made a thread saying he can’t get into +10’s because he’s overqualified for them.

I found the trixie/naeno fight hard at first. I remember doing that fight first a couple times and thinking the entire dungeon was gonna be that bad.

Most of the dungeon isn’t that hard. But it’s definitely harder than like a +7-10 or so considering you actually have to do the mechanics.

You’re not used to Mechagon yet, in comparison to the other dungeons

The length of the mega dungeon also means it feels longer and harder

And lastly, it’ll be easier than a 15 freehold tyrannical with eudora as ally yes, coupled with 2 other useless affixes. But 15 kings rest… Nah

Most of the party damage is avoidable if you handle the mechanics properly.

Groups that just mongo and face tank everything get crapped on.

That’s good.

It’s a fun dungeon with a lot that every person can do to make it easier on the group. Interrupt, stun, purge, dance out of damage, group things up for optimal cleave, etc.

Also gear makes it way easier. My main in 430 smashes that place. Alts in 400 gear have to play a bit better. I’m doing it a few times a week cause it’s awesome. ^.^

On this, it’s interesting how Mechagon was designed in that the first couple of bosses are much harder than the later half. My friends / lady and I clear it every Monday night in about 45 minutes to an hour of running through it quickly, but we’re all heroic raiders / 2K+ players.

We’ve all come to the unanimous decision that the first four bosses, for whatever reason, are much more annoying than the second half. If your group of friends and you can get passed the slime dude, and the two gnomes, you can easily down the rest of the dungeon.

Most of these forums are bad players. I remember when it came out and everyone here was saying how overtuned it was. Now that they’re used to it, they can value it reasonably again. But don’t be like me (week 1)and say it was a good challenge or else you’ll regret it

I don’t know what they’re intentions were. My husband and I pugged it week one.

Hm king is a joke if your group has mics.

We 3 shot it this week. That’s 2x more deaths than any other boss in there.

How are you dying? People falling off and the bomb going off?
