So, the way the hard mode mount drop works is your entire group needs to be eligible for loot off King Mechagon in order for a group member that doesn’t have the mount to be guaranteed to loot it. Or to illustrate differently, it’s a 20% chance per loot-eligible group member assuming at least one of them doesn’t have it.
Apparently my second example is a literal translation, as my friends and I just 3-manned hard mode and we didn’t get a mount drop despite the entire group being eligible. I’m basically here to petition that this mount be a guaranteed drop as long as the entire group is eligible. Change it to low drop chance after BFA like other guaranteed mounts, I’d be fine with that, but my friends shouldn’t be punished because we’re able to 3-man the instance. Hell, if someone were able to somehow solo it they should be able to get it (even if it is massively unlikely due to how King’s hard mode mechanic works).
