Opening the Dressing Room

I’m curious why I have to ctrl-click an item in appearances in order to get the Dressing Room up. Couldn’t there be a window expansion arrow in Appearances to enlarge the view window directly, and perhaps put Link Outfit there without having to click an item?

It’s just so awkward, and there isn’t an Option to just open the Dressing Room.

This is so baffling. This would score 0 out of 10 on the intuitiveness meter , but it is truly the only way to open it.
