Not enough people take the free transfers. Banning the bots and addressing the idling multiboxers would help more.

I am of the same mind. Layering is a band-aid, and an obnoxious one at that. But necessary when you are literally bleeding out because of 2 hour queues.
They need to have a more long term solution to prevent this from happening in the first place. Itâs 2020. Blizzard has had years of experience dealing with these very issues. The only reason they are dropping the ball now would be that they are a completely different, wholly less competent company. Hmm.
FACTION QUEUES. Limit the server to X number of players PER FACTION. This would help balance the in-game world population.

It would not. Whitemane is almost a dead even 50/50 Alliance/Horde split right now, and is suffering from the longest queues. The amazing faction balance here is part of the reason it has become so much more popular than the multitude of broken 70/30 servers out there.

Yes, definitely bring back layering for Faerlina. Our guild raids have been heavily impacted by the queue times. Layering will likely be required for Phase 5 anyway.
Another suggestion would be to add Black Lotus spawns to instanced dungeons so a small percentage of players canât corner the market.

Megaservers are a private server meme
Yes, but the meme has caught on and proven to be wildly popular amongst the general Classic playerbase, most of whom never played on private servers. It turns out that having a massive population of players to group up with, recruit for raids, PvP against, and buy/sell with in a game designed to be socially driven ends up being a better way to play for a large number of paying customers.
