As someone who doesn’t enjoy PVP in retail, please give us some other way to obtain older content PVP transmogs besides marks of honor.
Old PVE mogs can be for the most part besides some Legion Mythic encounters be obtained solo.
You’re not gonna get much sympathy around these parts with that suggestion. Marks of honor are really easy to obtain right now, just getting blood of the enemy rank 3 should give you over 100 of them

You must not have read the part where I said I don’t enjoy retail PVP. So it should be no surprise that I dont have Blood.
I read it. I don’t enjoy M+ but I do that in order to pvp, and I know many people who get blood of the enemy just because they need it to pve. Most people do some things in this game they don’t enjoy, like world quests or rep grinding, to get a reward. The nice thing about pvp transmog is that it’s buyable for a currency. With pve transmog you just pull the slot lever and pray for it once a week. This system is already better. Your request is much like if I were to ask for pve transmogs to be buyable for marks of honor so I could avoid the rng

Except a direct comparison between pve and pvp is not the same system. In pve you can form groups solely to funnel gear to one character, you can trade gear, or you can solo the old content to farm mogs.
Pvp can do none of those things.
So here’s the thing… If you want the pve mogs you have to go grind some pve. If you want PvP mogs you have to grind PvP. That makes sense no?
This should be the incentive to try new stuff, not power levels.

Frankly no one cares.
Old PvP gear should require PvP to acquire, just like old PvE gear requires PvE.

Where are these vendors located on the horde side ?
In the old Dalaran sewers and in the PvP hut in Orgimmar.
Newer sets may only be on the vendors outside of Ashran. There’s another vendor out in Pandaland on the wall.
One vendor may carry everything, I’m not sure.

which ones specifically are you looking for? Area 52 has a lot of the old gear, as does gad.
If I need to raid for raid transmog, then it’s only rational that I pvp for pvp transmog.

Best suggestion was found on wowhead: Do the Comp Stomp (PVP against AI) when it rolls around.
It looks like you dabble in PvP so why not just make a goal to do a certain amount of BGs per day or week? Good Luck!
I’m still holding onto over 2k of these til I find something useful to use them on.
