Calling all Rendorei, Kaldorei, Queldorei, and Half-Elf players!
Ancestors Honorguard is recruiting any elven roleplayers of the Alliance, with a high interest in encouraging open roleplay, building a strong elven lore driven presence on the server, and helping new players find their particular niche or special twist to their characters.
My husband and I both work together with running this guild, and for the last four years since my last login, we talked, wrote out and shared ideas to one another about possibly making a guild that helps the server as a whole with rebuilding the elven roleplaying community and helping new roleplayers learn the lore of the game and races while making plausible spins to lore without breaking it completely for the players the new folk might encounter.
This is a roleplaying guild that requires an in-character interview with the characters that wish to join, and my ultimate goal with the guild is to help give a place for half-elf and lore-flexing characters that may or may not fit in with others known groups on the server.
The guild itself is structured as a coalition of noble houses that are trying to rebuild their standing and help each other out with their individual goals. I’m sure a few players have seen some of us running around doing our own thing, but I assure you that everyone of us are welcoming walk-up roleplay and would not mind stopping for a moment to chat if there’s questions to be answered about the guild itself and it’s purposes.
We accept any elven or half elven characters that are actively seeking help with their character design and backstory, or just want to chip in as someone wanting to help others out.
In partnership with Project Moonsong community group, we hope to extend another guild on Horde side for active Horde players to have a place to learn, share and work together with rebuilding elven interests on both factions.

It’s been weeks since Sorrëreina had started settling back into life in Azeroth. The time she had spent in Altered Draenor had changed her life in more ways than one, and one of the first things she had promised herself to do when returning to her home timeline, was to get organized, and help her fellow elves, no matter what mixture of bloodlines they came from. Facing off odds that had left her a changed female, her priorities had shifted from selfishly protecting her honor and her family name to guarding what remains of the elven traditions and cultural ways of not just the Kaldorei, but the Highborne as well.
Without even consulting her own husband, Vargon, a demon hunter of some renown among certain circles, she had applied and issued a standard for her organization and had taken the time to put together posters to put up for the vagrant kaldorei and homeless elves wandering the streets of Stormwind to see. Now, was the time for her to open doors to her estate and graciously share all that she had been saving for her kindred people in need. Her manor was untouched by the flames of Teldrassil, tucked away in the mountains of Kalimdor and far from the hustle and bustle of city life that seemed to be her kin’s only salvation at this desperate time.
The posters were scattered throughout the city on walls, in the entry ways to each section of Stormwind itself, and even within the Wizards Sanctum in the Mage’s quarter for all to see. Elegantly written, the scroll work carefully crafted to ensure it remains in good shape in spite of the elements, with traces of highborne magic to preserve the script from becoming faded with sun bleaching or bleeding out over time. Across the top of the poster and the bottom, elegant banners in Alliance blue and gold unfurl with bright hues to catch the eye. A silhouette of a spread winged raven with it’s head turned to the left and pale moon colored eyes visable stretched across the top of the poster page, in a warm welcoming symbolic gesture.
“Friends of the elves and elves alike, I wish to present an open door offer to those that are without home or basic needs at this dire time in our lives. As elves, we tend to work best together, as a community, and as a people and with the Burning of our Darnassus and Teldrassil, I wish to open the doors of my personal estate to any that needs somewhere to lay their head to rest, warm food for their bellies, and clothing to keep warm. I ask for nothing in return, but wish only to unite our people once more to face the coming days of the future as a people again, together. Teldrassil is no more, but that does not mean that we should stop everything and bury ourselves alive. We are still alive, WE are survivors, and as survivors we are stronger now than ever before, because we have something all in common. The will to live. It’s what binds us all together. You do not have to go without, I do not know how many of us still have the means to offer assistance like this, but I and my family are able and willing to do so. I don’t expect anything in return, I only wish to see my people and my kin unite to face the future together as a nation once more. We cannot allow xenophobia to divide us any longer, we are part of the same Alliance. Let us move on this day forth, as one people, as part of this Alliance. The Ancestors Honorguard offers to you all a home, food, and to meet your basic needs. If more is required, you need only ask.”
