Hi, Onyxia is spawned but just standing around, and Bolvar is just looking at her like “oooh a dragon” and no one can turn in the Reginald Windsor quest or the Nathanos Blightcaller quest. Unfortunately, the bug/ticket reports won’t get us any help, because all options assume we don’t really need any help. Please send help. This is on Pagle. Thanks.

Unfortunately, no one here can assist like you want them to.
I would recommend having everyone leave the instance for a half hour so it can soft reset, maybe even give it a couple hard resets and see if it fixes it. But if that doesn’t help, you may need to try again after tomorrow’s reset, maybe even monday’s reset, and maybe even maintenance.

I believe they’re talking about classic when you do the Oynxia attunement questline, could be wrong, but I don’t believe they’re talking about Ulduar.
OP you can try having everyone drop the quest, run to the front of stormwind and pick it up again:). Just have to do the walk with windsor again.

Huh… that’s fair, I guess. The mention of Nathanos threw me off since I don’t think he was introduced until 1.5.

Yeah, Nathanos was a grumpy Forsaken-looking Forsaken (not the dashing grumpy looks-remarkably-good-for-a-dead-guy Forsaken) on a homestead in EPL. He was an Alliance world raid quest boss guy, as well as a Horde quest-giver.
Yeah, I was talking about Classic, sorry for being unclear.
The Stormwind throne room is a mess with people constantly doing the Marshall Windsor quest that spawns Onyxia in the throne room, while others need to talk to Bolvar to be able to do the Nathanos quest. When it’s bugged, everything comes to a standstill.
Oh well. I came back in the middle of the night when it was a little quieter and talked to Bolvar then. Thanks for the input, though. I especially liked the idea of getting everyone to run out of Stormwind.

If there is an escort going on, all the NPCs in the keep become “can’t talk to now.” My guess is there is a simultaneous escort happening.

there is no phasing in classic, so you have to wait for the person before you to finish the quest and for all the NPCs to go back to normal before you can do anything
