so i was trying to get a Cloud serpent i did the starting quests and all the dailies i could once i was done that i went to farm onyx eggs i found 4 in like 5 minutes after that i looked for another 20 minutes and could not find any more did i do something wrong? please help
4 in 5 minutes is pretty exceptional. They tend to be few and far between.

theres 2 locations 1 near the Dailies area and the second being on timeless isle both are you farming up eggs just the second gives more rep but i think you got a better chance for the first.

the guide i watched said that he was geting like 12 per run so i confused i finished the rep grind yesterday been haveing fun useing the mount

Make sure when dealing with MOP rep when ever you hit Revered you buy the item at the Faction vendor that doubles all gained rep for that faction account wide so this way any and all alts you may wish to do the rep will gain twice the normal amount.
All depends on your server and how many are zoned into that area from other servers. I did it on my new jewelcrafter alt, and got like 20 in an hour because I was the only one farming the eggs.
