Heh, on a real note, my son has had this on pre order and counting down the days. Harry Potter was a big part of his growing up years and was ‘our thing’ to always be at the theaters on release day for the movies, reading the books, etc. Many Halloween I had to dress up with him in theme of course. I’m not planning to play but he’s really excited for it. (Note here, he’s now a grown man but still excited)

My wife is the biggest Harry Potter nerd in the world. For our mini honeymoon (before our actual honeymoon later this spring) I took her to the real life Yule Ball on opening night back in November in Montreal, Quebec. It was actually a stunning, very high budget looking event and was not oversold / overcrowded. I’d post some pictures but uhh… I’ve had one or two forum trolling reports so I don’t have them there trust level 3 magic’s heh heh

Saw some small streamers being abused for playing this game yesterday.
Some people are just off the rails.

I’m excited to footage of the game but I don’t think my PC can really handle it :joy:

the requirements are actually pretty staggering to get 60 fps on high or ultra. For example I’m running on a Ryzen 5 5600x, GPU is AMD 6600 XT OC Edition, i have 32 gigs of ram and one of the best samsung evo m2 drives and i’m expecting to get 70 fps on high or 50 ish on ultra.

1080p, of course. at 1440p i’d go about 15 fps slower on each setting.

But they are also saying that graphically speaking it will be the most beautiful game since RDR2 and all of 2023. Time will tell in a few hours, I haven’t watched any spoilers. I shall report back my benchmarks and findings.

For many of us who didn’t pre-order deluxe (or don’t pre-order at all), the real date is the 10th. So 3 days from now.

That said, i heard it’s doing extremely well. :slight_smile: Can’t wait to pull a Neville and make things go boom. :laughing:

Also hot take, he was the one to help stop Ya-know-who.
