Yeah life is hard for a pvper on alliance side. Let’s see LFG has about 20 people in it during prime time. 90% of them are DPS, sub 1500 xp players, players on crappy low gear alts, or players like me just looking to cap. Can’t really tell whats worse. Dentist visit or capping conquest points. Keep in mind that BFA was supposed to be the “PVP Expansion”
Haven’t capped yet on any of my druids … zero desire to cap as the weekly reward and the chest loot are usually trash.
Im disgusted to be one to say that but mythic is way more fun and rewarding than PvP at this point.
Yea I thought about capping my priest this weekend as I had more time than usual. Opened up lfg and there was like two groups (alliance) looking for 3s in there… Kinda scary…
I haven’t capped since the first week. Doing 3s with this dampener of a meta it takes like 5ish hours to cap. Then ies and other stuff? Cap should be easy (like doing a single mythic +). Then the time should be consumed by pushing higher rating or keys.
5+ hours to cap for sub par gear and RNG doesn’t increase my time played metric, it burns me out.
I play one 3s match for the rival box and then use random bgs and world pvp to cap conquest while playing passively/casually through the week. Those content areas are more fun as MM anyway.
Skirmish quest was this week … along with Incursions , CoA, and few random BG’s , it was real easy to cap .
tbh I’ve only seen about 20 on horde side. not sure when prime time is but they were all the same problems you had. yolos, specific comps, fresh 120s or glad xp req
Shouldn’t capping conquest be the same time investment as completing a M+ key? Pushing up the ladder is the same as pushing a key lvl. I don’t see a reason why it doesn’t take ~30 mins to cap.
Cant cap if you have no one to cap with.
It’s 14 wins of 3v3 to cap 500 conquest, if you account for average of 50% win rate that’s 28 games played, average of 8 minutes per game, or 4 hours of queuing. Can be variant give or take an hour, but yeah it takes a lot longer then M+ for sure.
That is all assuming you have friends or an LFG group that forms instantly and doesn’t fall apart
not sure where you guys keep getting this idea in your head lmfao, blizzard has never said any expansion was supposed to be “the pvp expansion”, ever. the closest you could argue was that holinka once stated/hinted that wod would be a great expansion for pvp because he was very proud of his little ashran creation (which would have been fine if it was not forced content)
imagine ever taking this statement seriously enough to think it had anything to do with rated pvp
Thought about capping my alliance MW for about 2 seconds and then moved on with my life.
Capping two and even just one healer is not fun these days. Even winning seems to bring a frown.
Nobody cares.
Definitely nobody from you server cares.
Ewww Ragnaros player LOL!
blame the low iq NA sheeple who STILL insist on playing Horde despite Alliance having arguably better racials at this point
Would love to play Alliance over this garb.
While I agree, if your a horde main that does pve too, why would you even bother? If you did decide to roll alli, your choices are grind lvl1 or give up $60 for a boost. I would rather vicegrip my testes than grind 0 to 120 and there’s no way I’m paying any extra cash to play this disaster. Have to think others feel the same.
Honestly wish devs would try more to make stuff like this, but listening to player feedback and adapting/fixing their idea to make it more fun. Too often feels like they make something in the game, then when they hear player feedback even if its overwhelming they shrug their shoulders and move on to a different project.
I also still think garrisons woulda been a cool idea if they had made it a zone in stormwind/orgrimmar that was like player housing with customization options. It would make it fun to farm for items like transmog farming is sometimes.
It just feels like a lot of blizzard ideas that could be cool, end up sucking cause they try too hard to cater to wide audiences and nobody ends up happy. And in addition it feels like they already have their mind made up on a lot of stuff that hits ptr/beta builds and feedback is kinda just not really cared for.
